Seal of Approval

  • What is the Seal of Approval?

The Seal of Approval is a recognition process intended to identify Greek Chapters who have met and/or exceeded the minimum expectations in the categories of Academic and Scholastic Achievement, Risk Management and Prevention, Chapter Management, New Member Programming and Philanthropy & Community Service.

The Seal of Approval encourages chapters to uphold the values and standards espoused by their National Organizations. Every calendar year, Greek organizations are required to turn in a compilation of their  previous year's programs, services, events and accomplishments. These portfolios are judged by University employees  who work outside of the Greek Life Office and community leaders. The Seal of Approval recipients are recognized at the Greek Night Out Awards Banquet held during Greek Week every spring.
