Order of Omega Honor Society

  • Greek Honor Society

Order of Omega is a Leadership Honor Society for fraternal men and sorority women. Members are selected by an application process that asses character, scholarship and intelligence, service and leadership. Members must have a 3.0 or higher GPA and have at least sixty credits in order to apply. It is a very competitive process and therefore the “best of the best” are chosen to represent this prestigious Greek society.

The purpose of Order of Omega, as stated in the national constitution, is threefold; First, to recognize those students that have attained a high standard of leadership in inter-Greek actives, to encourage them to continue along this line, and to inspire others to strive for similar conspicuous attainment.

Second, to bring together the most representative fraternity and sorority members, and to create an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate affairs.

Third, to bring together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of the institution’s fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest, understanding, and helpfulness.
