This heritage benefits both our fraternity and sorority members and the broader university community. Colorado State University Greek Life Office creates and maintains programs and developmental opportunities that strengthen and complement the mission and goals of the University.
The Office of Greek life acts in a liaison role working with local Greek chapters, their Inter/National offices, and within the campus governance structure. The Office of Greek Life strives to promote a strong and positive Greek community. Greek Life works with local chapters to offer members a variety of opportunities to contribute to the tradition-rich CSU community. By creating purposeful living-learning experiences, Greek organizations foster leadership, life-long friendships, self-improvement and prepares students for success while at Colorado State University and after graduation.
Colorado State University Greek chapters value scholarship by encouraging and supporting members in their academic pursuits. Each Colorado State University Greek chapter observes ritual-based principles and standards regarding ethics, values-centered leadership and life skills. Chapters recognize that personal and group accountability is maintained through continuous improvement and peer governance. An integral part of Colorado State University Greek life is the duty to serve others in order to make the campus and community a better place.
Cooperation between Greeks and other members of the University community fosters productive partnerships. These relationships further chapter development and enhance open communication, resulting in more productive chapters.
Greek interaction within the University community creates an enhanced association with Colorado State University. Long lasting ties demonstrate continued support of the University. Mutual cooperation between Greeks and staff, faculty and other student organizations is stimulated through continued interaction. Greek alumni support the University/student partnerships.
